About me

Hi, I’m Rachel!,

Child&Child is a father daughter partnership of two Chartered Accountants, Dad and I.


My Dad, John Child FCA, has been offering tax planning services for individuals, partnerships and Limited Companies for over thirty years. So, after I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London back in 2000, I chose to join him in advising individuals and owner-managed businesses rather than the international corporates I had been working with at PwC. I wanted to give the right advice to families and family businesses just like ours. And to do it face-to-face with “real” people, with fixed and easy to understand fees, and no jargon.


It’s my mission to give you great advice that can save you tax and take the stress out of your family’s accounting and tax needs.


Child&Child provides all the services which other Chartered Accountancy Practices do, whether it is fulfilling statutory or regulatory requirements, or working out how best to organise your affairs to minimise inheritance tax or capital gains tax, but we are different. We give our Clients a very personal service.


Our Clients speak with me or my father, John, directly. We work with you to understand you and your family’s personal goals and ambitions, as well as those of your business. By developing a great relationship with you we believe we will help you to accomplish your goals for the future.
